Review: Brewers to call up Keston Hiura, Travis Shaw to IL

Their time is nigh! Keston Hiura is coming to the Milwaukee Machines, according to Robert Murray of The Sports.
Based on calculation made in previous periods, the Brewers will not manipulate their service time to bypass Super two, at least that is if he continues to be with the big league team for that season. That's a big deal, because Hiura will be eligible for salary arbitration following the 2021 season as opposed to 2022.
Certainly the Brewers organization feels he or she is ready. Right now at AAA San Antonio, he is slashing. 333//408/. 698 with 11 home runs plus 24 extra base hits. This individual was cited by draft professionals to be the best bat in the write when the Brewers selected him 9th overall in 2017. His minimal league numbers are backing up that will assessment.
It looks as if Hiura will take over the second base function, moving Mike Moustakas to 3rd base. That means Travis Shaw is going to be headed to the IL or San Antonio. As we all know, Shaw continues to be struggling with the bat hitting simply. 163 over the first six-plus days of the season.
UPDATE (10: fifteen a. m. ): It appears Shaw is in fact headed to the Injured Listing to clear a spot on the 25-man roster for Hiura, according to Ken Rosenthal.
UPDATE (10: 25 a. meters. ): According to the San Antonio Missions' radio announcer, the move to obtain Hiura on the 40-man is a DFA of Cory Spangenberg:
